BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)

Health Authority – Skills Immigration

PRA-BC is NOT able to assist sponsored candidates who choose the Express Entry BC pathway (Nomination or Permanent Residency).

If you have been selected for sponsorship by a health authority and have signed all necessary contractual documents confirming your participation in an upcoming PRA-BC intake, you may be sponsored at that time to apply to immigrate to BC through the Skills Immigration pathway of the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) – Health Authority stream as part of your participation in PRA-BC.

Understanding BC PNP

The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Skills Immigration - Health Authority stream is intended to help physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals work in BC and gain permanent residence.

For more information on the BC PNP Skills Immigration program for Healthcare professionals, please review the Skills Immigration information in the BC PNP Program Guide.

If approved as a provincial nominee, you and your eligible family members can apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to become permanent residents of Canada through the Provincial Nominee Class.

Please note: PRA-BC only acts in an advisory capacity. All decisions and time frames regarding work permits, permanent residence, and any subsequent decisions resulting in a change in the status of existing work permits and/or permanent residence, are at the sole discretion of IRCC.

If you are not a sponsored candidate, PRA-BC cannot assist you with IRCC and/or PNP inquiries beyond the information provided on this webpage.
